SHORNCLIFFE 1 DER
Versorium Energy Ltd. is proposing to develop the Shorncliffe 1 DER Project, a natural gas-fired electric generation facility located on private land, approximately 2 kilometres east of Hughenden, Alberta in the M.D. of Provost.
The Project will have a nameplate capacity of 5 MW and is comprised of two 2.5 MW natural gas-fired high efficiency-low emission industrial engines and electrical switchgear, housed within modular buildings.
The Project will connect to FortisAlberta's existing 25 kilovolt (kV) distribution line.
The necessary regulatory approvals are in place for the Project.
Commencement of construction activities and expected commercial operations timelines are to be determined.
